SCIENTIFIC STUDY of the efficacy of Blood Orange Enzymes.
NOTE: Please see Improvements in Moisturization graph to the left in the attached pictures.
NOTE: While you can observe that glycerin increases moisturization we prefer to use 'cleaner' and truly plant based ingredients.
An in-vivo moisturization study was also conducted to evaluate the hydrating properties of this ingredient. In this study, the initial moisturization values were measure on the volar forearms of 10 (M/F) volunteers. The test materials were then applied on the volunteer’s arms immediately after initial measurement using a Nova Impendance Meter.
For added perspective, measurements of the 5% and 2% solutions of this ingredient were compared to a solution of glycerin, water and an untreated site. Results indicate that this ingredient provides unique moisturizing benefits which are comparable to those of glycerin.
